The Introduction to Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) course, offered both through the Public Administration Department and Institute for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention, teaches students about the nature and extent of the NGO sector globally, with a particular emphasis on the role NGOs play in preventing and responding to genocide and mass atrocity.  Each year, the courses examines five countries in depth, through the lens of a partner organization in that country involved in genocide and mass atrocity prevention work.  

In the Spring 2021 course, the class studied five countries and organizations and developed a presentation for each.  The presentations linked below are the students' work.
