Like a lot of people, I felt compelled to pull out my sewing machine and make masks during the early part of the pandemic. A colleague at Binghamton University Libraries generously provided pre-cut fabric and elastic to anyone who wanted to sew masks for family, friends, and the local hospitals. This is an image of my sewing machine which was passed down to me by my Grandmother.
